Moisture and Osmosis Problems After Sale
The owner of a recently sold vessel contacted us after receiving a claim from the buyer regarding an alleged widespread osmosis problem affecting the hull, as well as previous repairs which, according to the buyer, proved that the seller had prior knowledge of the issue.
The owner requested our intervention to verify the accuracy of these allegations, as he was unaware of the defects being attributed to him.
During the technical inspection, the osmosis problem and previous related repairs were confirmed, thereby validating the buyer’s claims, much to the seller’s surprise.
